Nhạc Sĩ với Dương Cầm / The Pianist

Nguyễn Xuân Trung was born in Hai Phòng, Việt Nam.
I came to the States in 1971 as a foreign student. While in college, I became interested in arts thru millions of arts books in the libraries. I then changed my majors to Fine Arts and Graphic Design.
After a career of 25 years as a designer, I decided to retire and now devote my time to painting and drawing.
I find inspirations for my paintings in traditional/classical folk stories and music.
All of my works are portraits of women.
